Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to speculation that he is not going back to the Emirates Stadium next season.
Earlier today, Goal journalist Charles Watts said on his YouTube channel that Leno “said his goodbyes at the end of the season around London Colney”, as transcribed by TheBootRoom.
Leno has responded to that on Twitter, dismissing the rumour.

WHAT SHOULD ARSENAL GOALKEEPER BERND LENO DO?
In our view, Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno should seriously consider a move away from the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer window.
Aaron Ramsdale is the clear first-choice goalkeeper at the Gunners now, and we do not think that it is not going to change anytime soon.
Yes, of course, Ramsdale could go through a bad spell, but can Leno really bank on that?
Leno is a very capable and experienced goalkeeper who cost Arsenal £19.3 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2018 (BBC Sport).
Arsenal are now reportedly willing to accept £8.5 million for the Germany international goalkeeper, who is of interest to Benfica.
Leno is too good to play second fiddle to Ramsdale and could easily turn out for another top club in Europe on a regular basis.
