Manchester United look set to make Frenkie De Jong their first summer signing. Barcelona and Manchester United are reported to be in “broad agreement” with fees to be in the region of €65m (£56m) plus a €20m performance related add-ons.
The former Ajax man made 46 appearances for Barcelona last term and has 4 years remaining in his current contract with Barcelona.
Talks continue to progress between both clubs over the final details of the deal. Personal terms with the player doesn’t seem to be a problem for Manchester United.
