Golden state warriors showed resilience against an aggressively defensive Boston who were able to keep Steph Curry tame in the game but couldn’t stop the likes of Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson from running the show as the warriors triumphed 104-94.
Celtics fell short in the fourth quarter as they were kept silent by warriors as Jayson Tatum continued his 4th quarter struggles in the series as he had only 5 points in the final frame but he netted 27 points total.
Andrew Wiggins man of the match and man of the moment with 26 points, 13 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists stepped up in place of ice cold Steph Curry who managed 16 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 8 assists which saw him move to the top 10 of players with the most assists in NBA finals.

Game 5 saw us witness Steph Curry least performance in the finals as he was 0 for 9 from 3-point range. His career 3-point leader’s NBA-record streak of 132 straight postseason games with at least one 3 ended, along with his NBA-best run of 233 consecutive games with a 3 between regular season and playoffs combined.
Boston Celtics looked set to head into the fourth quarter with the lead after roaring back in the third quarter before Jordan Poole beat the buzzer with a 33 foot 3 from the left wing to hand warriors the lead 75-74.
Golden State Warriors head to Boston for a ‘do or die’ game 6 on Thursday as a win for the Warriors will see them clinch their fourth championship in 8 years and will back up Steph Curry for the MVPs.
