Aleix Garcia has reportedly emerged as Barcelona’s top priority for the January transfer window.
The Girona midfielder has impressed so far this season and has attracted the attention of both Xavi and Joan Laporta, according to SER Catalunya.
Garcia has a release clause of 20 million euros, but Barcelona are thinking about including either Pablo Torre or Oriol Romeu in any possible deal.
Gerard Romero is also talking about Barcelona and Aleix Garcia and says he’s the team’s priority for the winter window.
Garcia seems open to a move to Barcelona too. He said at the start of the month that he’s followed the club since he was little and would love to play for the Blaugrana some day.
Xavi was subsequently asked about the midfielder and admitted he’s a player than he likes and one that he thinks has the abilities to play for Barcelona.
