Ronald Araujo may have suffered a facial fracture but that’s not going to stop him playing for Barcelona.
The Uruguay international was in training on Thursday, complete with a protective mask as he prepares on take on Girona at the weekend.
You can check him out in action below:
Araujo is expected to feature on Sunday despite his injury and has a history of playing through the pain barrier for Barcelona.
The defender played against Real Madrid in the Super Cup last year just five days after undergoing surgery on a hand injury.
Araujo played the whole game while wearing a protective splint. The surgery had seen the defender have two screws inserted into his hand.
Xavi will certainly be eager to have Araujo available. Barca can close the gap on Girona with a win on Sunday and head into the match with a bit of form after wins over Porto and Atletico.
