Romano gives ‘Here we go’ as Tottenham seals the deal for Dragusin amidst hijack concerns from Bayern Munich
Tottenham have beaten out Bayern Munich for the signing of Radu Dragusin. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Bayern was looking to hijack the Lilywhites’ deal and made an important offer to the player and team.
In response, Tottenham Hotspur submitted an improved proposal overnight. Spurs were always confident about the signing of Dragusin and counted on him to respect their agreement.
Although the choice was up to the 21-year-old it was rather an easy one to make. At Bayern Munich playing time wasn’t guaranteed for the player at all times. Meanwhile, he will likely become a regular feature on Postecoglou’s squad.

Tottenham rates the player very highly and has been in pursuit since the very first day of the transfer window. Things may have looked bleak amidst the Bayern hijack concerns but the saga is now over, Dragusin is Tottenham-bound.
It has been reported that the Lilywhites have paid an amount north of €30m for the player. Additionally, Djed Spence of the Spurs will be joining Genoa on a season-long loan deal. He will likely be used to plug the hole left behind by Dragusin.
The Romanian defender is expected to arrive in London soon, where an official announcement will made about the signing. Tottenham have high hopes for the 21-year-old and will be counting on him to further improve their defence.
