Barcelona continue to be linked with a move for Bernardo Silva who is said to be “crazy” about joining the Catalan giants.
The problem, of course, if that he won’t come cheap and Barcelona will have to sell big if they are to land the Portugal international.
Marca have even claimed Barca would likely have to sell either Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araujo or Raphinha to be able to land Bernardo.
Of the three, it’s claimed it would be most effective to sell De Jong as Barca would also need to free up some space on the wage bill.
There’s no doubt at all of Bernardo’s quality, but the big question is whether it would be a good idea to sell a player such as De Jong to sign the City star.
Let’s not forget that Barca really need a new pivot this summer, while there are also suggestions Xavi wants another left-sided player.
So tell us what you think! Would you like to see Bernardo at Barca or is it not worth selling a superstar to sign the Man City man? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
