- Manchester City 4, Kevin De Bruyne (17’) Phil Foden (26’, 34’) Julián Álvarez (62’)
- Brighton 0
Welcome to your quick recap.
Manchester City are leaving the midweek victorious and have won at Brighton. A really good win that saw many players keep up their form. Phil Foden especially, who looked out of this world.
A match that had a similar feel to most City matches, yet resulted in some good play for the team as the intensity was present early. It was a bit disjointed at points, but one cannot qualm about a four goal win.
One where City was in control with possession and chances created. They played a very solid match and are in the thick of a double title charge.
City had so many players who played well this time and that includes some lineup choices that were not popular with fans.
Two players of note who did play well and were lively were Julian Alvarez and Kevin De Bruyne, who showed up well.
The story of the night is that City get the win and hold all the cards now in their palms.
A needed result and we move.
