Our predicted MUFC XI for the Premier League home game vs Everton is now in…
Manchester United are truly at the last chance saloon in regard to their Champions League hopes. The Red Devils are eleven points off the top four pace at this time, with games suddenly starting to run out.
It’s going to take something heroic, but I guess you don’t give up until it’s over, right? Manchester United now cannot afford any slip-ups whatsoever. It all starts with a home game against Everton this Saturday lunchtime.
Injuries still persist within the United squad. No doubt Erik ten Hag will provide us with some updates on that front later today during his pre-match press conference.
Ahead of that, using the information we have, we’ve drawn up our predicted side for the game. There are a couple of players starting out of position amid the injury issues, but let’s give you the full run down…
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Everton in full here:
Andre Onana’s form has been drastically better of late. I’m happy he’s starting to get the praise his performances have deserved and long may that continue. He will start in between the sticks.
Diogo Dalot remains the only fit right-back at this stage of the season, with the Portugal international a no-brainer to start in that area of the field. Over on the left, United really have no choice but to stick with Sofyan Amrabat. Raphael Varane will play at centre-half, alongside Victor Lindelof.
Casemiro starts in the defensive midfield position, allowing Kobbie Mainoo to have that extra freedom to try and get forward. Bruno Fernandes starts in the attacking midfield position.
Marcus Rashford will start in the striker spot which is far from ideal, though it’s the situation at hand. To his left, Alejandro Garnacho and over on the right, Antony. This front three has blown hot and cold all season long. Let’s hope they turn up with a point to prove here.
