Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –
Moises Caicedo will reportedly try to convince Brighton and Hove Albion to sell him to Mauricio Pochettino’s CHELSEA .
Caicedo is a player that the club have been linked with for the last couple of months and have been trying to get a transfer deal done for the midfielder.
However – the issue has been that massive asking price that Brighton have placed on the head of Caicedo – they want a staggering £100 million for their star man, and Chelsea are not keen to pay that amount.
But that does not mean that Personal terms have not been agreed, because if you believe the many reports in the media, Caicedo has already accepted the project that is happening at Stamford Bridge.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
The Times has claimed that “Caicedo and his representatives will seek further talks with Brighton” to “try to persuade the club to bring their asking price down from £100 million”.
Caicedo is reportedly keen on a move to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
Marc Cucurella has recently claimed Caicedo is keen on joining CHELSEA this summer transfer window and believes his side would be signing ‘a top midfielder for a long time’.
When asked about Chelsea’s move for Caicedo, Cucurella said: ‘I think he wants to come here, I’ve read in the media a lot of times.
‘For me, I have a really good relationship with him because we played together at Brighton.
‘He’s a top player, a good midfielder, if he came here I think we’d have a top midfielder for a long time.’
ODOI CLAIM MADE –
CHELSEA star Callum Hudson-Odoi’s proposed move to Fulham is a deal that is needed for the player’s stage of his career, that is according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
The club have already seen several high-profile players leave the club this summer. Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic have all found new homes in the Premier League.
Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante have moved to the Saudi Pro League, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic have both joined AC Milan. Club captain Cesar Azpilicueta has left for Atletico Madrid.
A few seasons ago Hudson-Odoi was regarded as the future of the club – a special talent that doesnt come around too often and a player that the club had massive hopes for
However – he had failed to reach the heights that many expected and now is set to join Fulham in a £4 million deal.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Agbonlahor said: “It’s not worked at CHELSEA . He’s also not looked himself when going out on loan.
“There is a talented player in there , but if you don’t knuckle down then your value can drop, so I think it’s time for Chelsea to to let him go.
“Hudson-Odoi will want to play week in and week out, and on top of that Fulham is still a very good club to go to.”

Although we are sad that he never fulfilled his talent here at Stamford Bridge – we do want him to succeed and go on to be the winger that many had hoped for.
NKUNKU CAN DO EXCITING THINGS –
Christopher Nkunku has opened up and told CHELSEA fans that he can do exciting things for the club.
We had one of the worst seasons that fans have seen last year when they failed to win a trophy, finished down in 12 position in the Premier League and completely failed to get into Europe.
That prompted the club to bring in Mauricio Pochettino and a number of players in order to get back challenging Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United for that Title next season.
And after that disappointing 12th-placed finish last season, summer signing Nkunku has opened up and claimed that he is excited to show the fans what he is able to do.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
‘I want to show what I can do,’ he said. This is just the beginning. I still need to adapt.
‘To come here and score directly in the first game, I was very happy. The first thing in my mind is to adapt with the team and my teammates – with the club also – and improve every day.’
‘In this project the main thing is about the team,’ he says. ‘We want to be up in the table, achieve the Champions League [qualification] next season. This is the main thing, and then after yeah I have some goals, but I keep that personal.
‘I was dreaming of playing in the Premier League. This is the league where I wanted to play in my career and have the chance to be. It is the biggest league in the world and every great player wanted to play in this league.’
