Nicolas Jackson has revealed just how happy he is after his first few weeks of being a Chelsea player.
The former Villareal man is one of the players that the club were desperate to sign this summer – as they seek to add some more goals to the side – and they have paid £34 million to the Spaniards to wrap up his signature.
He has agreed a massive eight-year contract with the club and after his move a few weeks ago – he has come out and admitted just how happy he is to join a massive club like CHELSEA.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
‘Things are going very well, I am very happy right now. It is very hot but I am used to it, it’s the same in Spain and Senegal,’ he grins.
‘The running is not even too bad, it is fine. I am used to it. There are similarities between the boss [Pochettino] and Unai Emery, who coached me at Villarreal.
‘I get on with everyone. I talk to everybody. We chill out together. We’re playing cards, playing games when we are not training.’
WILL JACKSON BE A GOOD SIGNING?
He has a long way to go before he can be a top class striker – but he does have all the potential to be a top Premier League star – he just needs to keep on working.
And under a boss like Mauricio Pochettino – his game will only get better.
So yes we are hoping that he will be a good signing for the club.
