Here are our player ratings as Man United beat West Ham United 3-0.
Andre Onana – Made a couple of really smart saves to preserve his clean sheet. His kicking was pretty good, too. 6/10
Diogo Dalot – His personal highlight was a superb last-ditch tackle. He was solid defensively but a little behind the play when attacking. 7/10
Harry Maguire – Looked calm and confident in possession. Played some lovely pinging balls out to Rashy. Defended well, minus one moment of madness that almost led to a goal. 7/10
Lisandro Martinez – Looked in great shape, playing well and defending with real diligence, but then picked up a rather innocuous looking injury late on… 7/10
Luke Shaw – United just play better when he’s in the team. Solid defensively and tried to get forward. 6/10
Casemiro – Looked a little sluggish at times, particularly with the ball at feet. Did have some positive moments, though. 5/10
Kobbie Mainoo – Solid enough. Kept it simple with the ball at feet and continued to be press resistant. 6/10
Bruno Fernandes – Had some careless moments, but set the tone with his energy and tenacity. 5/10
Alejandro Garnacho – Scored two well-worked goals to secure the three points for his team. Was hit and miss when on the attack, but that’s only natural due to his age. Excellent. 8/10
Marcus Rashford – Had a couple of half-chances, but worked hard and tried to make things happen. 5/10
Rasmus Hojlund – He’s coming of age right before our eyes, and with a goal on his birthday today, too! Worked tirelessly and his goal was absolutely superb. A joy to watch. 8/10
Subs:
Victor Lindelof – Came on to help see the game out.
Raphael Varane – Much like Lindelof.
Antony – Worked hard.
Scott McTominay – More than played his part in the third goal.
