Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson has turned down the Gunners’ latest offer to extend his contract, according to reports in England.
The 23-year-old’s current deal expires at the end of June and, as things stand, he will be leaving on a free transfer.
While some fans on Twitter appreciate Nelson’s talent, most believe that it is time to part ways with the Hale End Academy graduate:
let him go unfortunately he’s not good enough

Just get rid. Would rather someone new come in, people literally holding on to his goal against Bournemouth as reason for a new deal. If he didn’t score that then no one would be up in arms about him rejecting these new deals

Nelson has made some memorable cameos from the bench this season, most notably in the incredible comeback win over Bournemouth.
However, the winger has remained a bit-part player, with manager Mikel Arteta having handed him just five starts, and you do feel that a departure from the Emirates is necessary if he wants regular first-team football.
Aston Villa, Brighton, Fulham and West Ham are all said to be keen on securing Nelson’s services so it looks almost that the former England Under 21 international will be lining up against the Gunners next season.
