Hannibal has a big decision to make at this stage of his young career, with the midfielder attracting big loan interest.
Manchester United Football Club have some pretty big decisions to make this January. The Red Devils have several players at the club on massive wages, who they’d prefer to sell outright but may have to settle for loan moves in the short-term.
The likes of Anthony Martial, Jadon Sancho and Donny van de Beek fall into that bracket (the latter has since moved away).
Then, Erik ten Hag has several youngsters he cannot guarantee minutes to at this juncture. Facundo Pellistri and Hannibal are the best examples of that – though the latter may be about to get his chance to shine, albeit away from the Theatre of Dreams.
The Tunisia international is attracting heavy interest, with Fabrizio Romano reporting that the midfielder now has to choose his loan destination, with two clubs showing an interest in him.

Hannibal has been given a few first-team chances this season, largely from minutes off the substitutes bench late in games, where he brings energy and a tenaciousness which does help during those situations.
However, Hannibal has serious aspirations to start with regularity. Both Everton and Sevilla represent excellent opportunities for the ex-AS Monaco man to start more matches and continue his development.
From my perspective, keeping him in the Premier League with Everton makes the most sense. I’d imagine that would be his best chance at minutes, though a move to Sevilla is obviously the more lucrative destination.
I don’t think there’s a wrong choice as at either club he’d earn more playing time from the outset. Hannibal is approaching that stage in his career where he needs to be starting matches every single week, so wherever he ends up, he has to take the golden opportunity with both hands.
