Harrison Reed’s goal proved to be the difference as Fulham overcame Nottingham Forest in the City Ground.
Taiwo Awoniyi scored his second premier league goal of the season in the 11th minute, heading past Bernd Leno to give Forest the lead.
Chances upon chances fell to the path of Fulham, but they couldn’t take advantage of any as they went into the break trailing.
After the break, Fulham needed the space of 7 minutes to turn the game around.
In the 54th minute, debutant Willian got his first contribution for Fulham as he set up Torin Adarabioyo for the equalizer.
3 minutes later, Joao Palhinha made it 2-1 for Fulham as he fired a long-range shot past the outstretched arm of Dean Henderson.
Finally, Harrison Reed’s low shot to the bottom corner in the 60th minute gave them a 3-1 advantage.
However, the goal gate wasn’t closed, as Lewis O’Brien pulled one back for Forest 13 minutes before time.
The damage was already done as Fulham secured their 3rd victory in the league while Nottingham remained winless in 5 league games.
