Manchester City’s reward for hammering Huddersfield is a trip to Spurs in the FA Cup fourth round. The blues, who are yet to score at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, last faced the London side in the cup 20 years ago, when they spectacularly came back from 3-0 down, with ten men, to win 4-3.
It will be the 12th time the two have faced each other, with Spurs winning six and City five of the previous 11 matches, including that FA Cup final!
While City were destroying Huddersfield, Spurs scraped past Burnley on Friday night, winning 1-0, and will face the blues on the weekend of 26/27th January, a tie that is likely to be selected for live TV.
The blues are the current holders of the competition, while Spurs last won the trophy in 1991, beating Nottingham Forest in the final at Wembley.
