Donny van de Beek is all set to leave Man United, with his loan to Eintracht Frankfurt set to be ‘announced soon’.
The last couple of weeks have been filled with Donny van de Beek exit rumours. The Dutch midfielder has been struggling for minutes over the last few years since arriving at the club.
It makes sense to move on from the former Ajax man sooner rather than later. At this stage, he’s just burning a hole in the club’s pocket. He’s on a hefty weekly wage at this moment, so United would prefer to get that dead money off the books.
Fabrizio Romano provided the latest information on Van de Beek’s future via X/Twitter this morning. The Italian journalist confirmed that the outbound United transfer business regarding the Dutch midfielder will be ‘announced soon’.
The struggling player is set to leave the Reds on January 1st, being loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt until the summer. There is a possible £13m up for grabs in terms of future transfer fee, though it is not mandatory for the German club to make the transfer permanent.

At this point, it’s all about how Van de Beek performs. The midfielder, aged just 24, is obviously talented and gifted. It just hasn’t worked out for him here in Manchester.
A move away has felt inevitable for about eighteen months now and finally, it looks like Van de Beek is going to be given an opportunity to prove his worth.
I’m just happy that Van de Beek has chosen a club that suits his playing style. I don’t doubt that he’ll break into the team sooner rather than later, proving his worth and showcasing his natural ability.
