Bayern Munich star and long-term CHELSEA FC target Joshua Kimmich is ‘open’ to talks with potential buyers from the Premier League in the race to sign him, according to reports.
The German midfielder sees his contract at Bayern expire in 2025 with no progress as yet of an extension. As a result, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany recently reported that the midfielder is thought to be exploring his options this summer.
Furthermore, Plettenberg recently stated that Bayern would be willing to sell Kimmich should a “suitable offer” arrive.
It is believed that ‘some’ of those five clubs have already made contact with Kimmich over a possible move, and if you believe the reports coming out of German – the International star is open to a move to the Premier League
Kimmich has made 378 appearances for Bayern Munich to date, producing 102 assists and 41 goals and is easily regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world right now.
Reporter Iomie Stanley: CHELSEA FC have been doing some dodgy business over the past couple of transfer windows -but if they are able to get a deal done for this man – he would be a great signing.
‘He is proven at the highest level of the game – is a proven winner – can play in numerous positions and is a leader on the pitch – he could be a real bargain for the club that is for sure.
‘So if the reports are true and he is open to the idea of moving to the Premier League – then Chelsea have the financial power to get him to their side of London – if they want to add an experienced player to the squad that is.’
