Former CHELSEA star Frank Leboeuf has advised the club to sign Nantes striker Mostafa Mohamed.
Reports in the media that we could try and make a move for Victor Osimhen in the January window, a man that they wanted to sign in the summer window and a striker that is easily regarded as one of the best in the game.
He has been in contract talks with Napoli for quite some time now, but has been unable to agree a new contract as the Italians are playing hard-ball and do not want to offer him the kind of deal that he feels he fully deserves.
However – it has been revealed in recent days that Osimhen is closing in on signing a new contract with Napoli – meaning that it will be very difficult for us to get a deal done for the man, and the Blues might look for another striker in the winter transfer window.
Now Lebeouf has asked the Blues to sign Mohamed, who is currently playing for the Serie A side and has scored five goals in 12 matches this season.
“Chelsea need a striker and an experienced midfielder. I said last season that Mitrovic would be good—he’s not world-class, but he’s a leader and a fighter. Victor Osimhen is having problems at Napoli, and maybe CHELSEA can go for him in January. There’s also Nantes’ Mostafa Mohamed; I think he could do a good job.”
