CHELSEA transfer target Florian Balogun has been told that he needs to train away from the Arsenal squad.
The USA striker, 22, has been linked with Inter Milan and Prem clubs following his sensational loan season with Reims in which he netted an impressive 21-goals for the French side in the League.
He has already come out and admitted that he needs to play in the coming seasons – and Mikel Arteta has been unable to give him the assurances that he needs to 100 per cent make the decision to stay put.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
Balogun has been involved in Arsenal’s pre-season preparations, figuring in friendly outings, but The Athletic reports that he worked separately from the main group during Mikel Arteta’s latest training session during a summer tour of the United States.
COULD BALOGUN REALLY END UP AT CHELSEA ?
Right now – Chelsea and Inter Milan are leading the chase to sign the talented striker an are both reportedly ready to pay that £35 million asking price – so he has options.
Balogun fits the criteria that the club are looking to sign, he is young, hungry and talented, something that will mean a big contract if he moves to Stamford Bridge.
It is likely that he makes the move to Inter Milan – but he would most certainly be interested in a move to Stamford Bridge as he knows that the Blues do not have a permanent number one striker right now.
And to be honest – we wouldnt mind him coming to the club.
