Arsenal have to win at Allianz Arena in the second-leg of their Champions League quarter-final fixtures against Bayern Munich to book a place in the semi-finals after playing out a 2-2 draw with the Bundesliga club at Emirates Stadium last night.
The individual quality of the Germans proved too much to handle for the Gunners on Tuesday, but the Arsenal defence will have one less Bayern star to worry about next Wednesday as Serge Gnabry has been ruled out of the game.
The Bavarians manager Thomas Tuchel revealed that the forward picked up a hamstring injury, and Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed he most likely suffered a muscle fiber tear in the left rear thigh.
While further medical examinations will now follow, the former Arsenal man is expected to be out for at least two to three weeks in a huge blow to Bayern.

Gnabry drew the visitors level with a brilliant finish after a defensive mix-up from Arsenal defenders, and Bayern only needed their first sniff at goal to find the back of the net.
Leroy Sane and Harry Kane were also thorns in the flesh for the Gunners defence, and while the duo will be playing next week, not having to face Gnabry is good news for Arsenal.
However, they cannot rely on Bayern injury woes if they want to win next week, and their players will need to step up and calm themselves when they play at Allianz Arena.
