Barcelona are reportedly planning on handing a contract extension to teenage attacker Marc Guiu.
The 17-year-old has stolen some headlines this season after being handed a few chances in the first team under Xavi.
Guiu scored against Athletic in La Liga and Antwerp in the Champions League after coming on as a substitute and was also on target in the friendly defeat to Club America in Dallas.
Diario Sport are now reporting that Barcelona want to extend his current deal which runs until 2025.
An agreement shouldn’t be hard to find as Guiu is a true culer and has been at the club since he was just seven years old.
Barca are thought to be planning a five-year offer for the teenager who is grateful to Xavi for the chances he’s received this season and hopes to become a regular at the club.
Certainly, Guiu may get more chances if he can keep on scoring, particularly with Barca’s attackers failed to impress in recent weeks.
