Arsenal have held several talks with Juventus to sign Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo, with Tuttomercatoweb<\/a><\/strong> reporting that the Gunners have informed the Italian champions that they are prepared to sign him permanently.<\/p>\n

The Gunners have been linked with Arthur for some time. It seemed that he might join the Gunners in the summer transfer window.<\/p>

The Arsenal hierarchy reportedly turned down a loan deal for the Brazilian after reports claimed that Edu had agreed terms.<\/p>

The Old Lady are also hopeful of signing Gabriel Magalhaes. The club hopes that discussions over Arthur will lead to talks about the centre-back as well.<\/p>\n
