Arsenal have held several talks with Juventus to sign Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo, with Tuttomercatoweb<\/a><\/strong> reporting that the Gunners have informed the Italian champions that they are prepared to sign him permanently.<\/p>\n The Gunners have been linked with Arthur for some time. It seemed that he might join the Gunners in the summer transfer window.<\/p> The Arsenal hierarchy reportedly turned down a loan deal for the Brazilian after reports claimed that Edu had agreed terms.<\/p> <\/p>\n Talks have been ongoing for some time between the two clubs and it now appears that a deal is back on the agenda.<\/p>\n Tuttomercatoweb reports that Arsenal and Juventus have been in talks for several days, with the Premier League side indicating to the Serie A club that they are prepared to pay to sign Arthur permanently.<\/p> \r\n\r\n<\/p>\n Arsenal have already agreed personal terms with the Brazilian midfielder in a contract worth up to \u00a3280,000 a week. Juventus want \u00a317 million to \u00a325.4 million for the former Barcelona man, who is attracting interest from two other Premier League sides.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Old Lady are also hopeful of signing Gabriel Magalhaes.
