Our predicted MUFC XI vs Aston Villa for a pretty important Premier League game is now in.
Manchester United have certainly been playing better of late. It’s no coincidence it directly coincides with the return to fitness of players like Casemiro, while the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho are now starting to strut their stuff.
The games are coming thick and fast at this stage of the season, as the Red Devils look to continue their push up the table, trying to force their way into the Premier League’s top four.
Next up, a tough game away at Aston Villa. The Midlands side are having themselves an excellent season, while Villa Park trips aren’t easy at the best of times. Tomorrow’s encounter will be no different.
Finally, though, it does feel like United have themselves a settled side of sorts. Ten Hag will be looking to continue that momentum here, so let’s give you the full run down of the team we believe we’re going to see.
Check out our predicted MUFC XI vs Aston Villa in full here:
Andre Onana will continue in between the sticks, although I’ll be the first to admit he hasn’t given confidence to his back four since becoming the first choice goalkeeper for the Reds.
Diogo Dalot was excellent last week so it only makes sense for him to continue, particularly with Aaron Wan-Bissaka out injured. Luke Shaw is now back fit and making an impact from the left-back slot, with Raphael Varane partnering Harry Maguire at the heart of the back four.
Casemiro does start in midfield as he looks to build up his fitness, alongside man of the moment, Kobbie Mainoo. Bruno Fernandes starts and captain’s the side from that attacking midfielder position.
Rasmus Hojlund is now looking sharp. He will lead the line as per usual. To his right and left respectively is Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford. Both are in decent form at this moment in time.
