Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that Romelu Lukaku will not feature for CHELSEA before the end of the transfer window.
Lukaku was at Inter Milan on loan last season and almost helped the Italians win the Champions League – but they were unable to get past the dominant Man City.
His loan deal at the Italians ended at the beginning of the summer – and there has been alot of speculation about his future – with many clubs linked with a possible deal after the club made the decision to let him leave.
But despite the fact we dont have a proven striker – when asked if Lukaku could return if he fails to secure a move away from the club this summer, Pochettino has revealed that he will not feature for the Blues.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
He said: ‘It is not only one side – it is two sides needed to find the best solution.
‘You cannot put it only on the club, it is about both sides. The situation is where it is because of both sides. Both sides have arrived at an agreement.

‘We were informed before we signed about the situation of every single player. After we signed, we had the squad that we had. It is so clear that nothing has changed, and if there is something to inform then we will inform.
‘There is nothing for us to do – I need to be focused on my team to try to perform. We cannot spend energy on a situation that was clear before we arrived at CHELSEA.’
Meanwhile Pochettino has also called on his team to ‘believe in the process’ this season. The club have not won either of their opening Premier League games with performances looking slightly disjointed.
He said: “It was the frustration when we miss the penalty.
“We were playing well and we didn’t get the reward. We start the second half a little bit with this belief until we started again to play.
“We need to be more strong in this type of situation because we knew West Ham sit deep and counter-attack and set-pieces are really dangerous.
“Disappointed but this is only the beginning. We need to believe in the process. I think we are going to be stronger and for sure be really competitive.”
