“I think there’s more to come. I’m delighted we’ve got him.”
Tottenham went into the break with a one-goal advantage. We came out strong in the second half as well. Then, Dejan Kulusevski finally found the back of the net at around the hour mark after going several games without scoring.
Maddison continued to provide control for the North London side in the middle of the park. Subsequently, the midfielder was taken off in the 73rd minute and Giovani Lo Celso played in the number 10 position.
The English national has had a fast start to life at the Lilywhites. Postecoglou has managed to get the best out of him in no time at Spurs. Hopefully, the Australia manager will continue to do so.
Against Brentford, Maddison had a stellar debut for Tottenham. The playmaker provided two assists as we got a point at the Gtech Community Stadium in the 2-2 draw.
