Luke Shaw is in line to feature against Luton, after being subbed off as a precaution against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Manchester United Football Club picked up a huge away victory on Sunday, getting one over on top four rival, Aston Villa. It was Scott McTominay (yet again) who’d win it late for the Old Trafford side, with a thumping header.
At half-time, my own personal nerves during the game became even tenser, with Luke Shaw withdrawn due to an apparent injury. Erik ten Hag remained tight-lipped on the Englishman afterwards, leaving us all in the dark.
However, reliable United source, @INSIDERUTD1, took to Twitter to shed some light on the situation. He is claiming that the United star ‘will play’ against Luton Town this coming weekend after his injury scare.
Shaw is said to be ‘feeling fine’ following the problem, with the defender subbed off as a precaution, rather than the left-back dealing with a serious injury. He will still be assessed by the medical team beforehand, but all is trending in the right direction.
Luke Shaw was subbed off as a precaution, he is in for training tomorrow and will be fully assessed by the medical team, the feeling is he is fine and will play against Luton unless something is discovered during his assessment.

This is the good thing about the part of the season we’re currently in. United will only have to play one game a week for large stretches of the campaign from here on out, giving these players time to recover from little knocks.
Shaw is vital to this side. United play infinitely better football when he’s in the line-up and the fact that he’s going to be good to go against Luton is massive. It also means Diogo Dalot can continue starting on the right-hand side of defence, rather than the man from Portugal being forced out of his best position as a result.
