Chris Sutton predicts Everton to draw against Tottenham
“It is worth remembering, though, that they were unlucky not to get anything from the reverse of this fixture just before Christmas, when Tottenham only just held on to win.”
The journo was referring to Tottenham’s 2-1 victory against The Toffees in December. Sutton also expressed his belief that Everton won’t lose even if they won’t be able to grab the much-needed win.
Everton has not tasted victory in their last five league outings. Sean Dyce’s team is up for back-to-back challenges as Manchester City awaits them next weekend. On the other hand, the North London outfits look pretty confident with their team well in shape.

Heung-mon Son’s absence is the only notable missing piece for Ange Postecoglou. Sutton’s partner Ed Leigh from Ski Sunday predicts Spurs to take him home with a 1-2 win.
The make-or-break game for Tottenham
Ange Postecoglou has transformed the club, period. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium residents have turned themselves into a strong force within the Premier League. Their season was however marred by injuries and suspensions.
The club is now slowly getting back on track. Spurs haven’t lost a Premier League game after succumbing to Brighton on December 29, 2023. Extending their streak by grabbing all three points from tonight’s game should be a major morale booster.
The Lilywhites have never failed to score under their new gaffer. Spurs are well on course chasing a coveted record and the Everton game should take them one step closer. They have now scored in 34 consecutive outings.
Most consecutive Premier League games scored in during the competition’s history:
◎ 55 – Arsenal (2001-2002)
◎ 36 – Man Utd (2007-2008)
◎ 36 – Liverpool (2019-2020)
◉ 34 – Tottenham (Present)
