CHELSEA are still in talks to sign Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians – and the Blues are now said to be favourites ahead of Arsenal.
Moscardo is the latest talent to attract the attention of Todd Boehly’s heavy-spending club, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Reports suggest that the board have made a €21m offer for the 17-year-old starlet.
The club have a transfer plan that revolves around some of the best young talent in the game and they are keen to keep on spending over the next couple of months, even though the transfer window has closed for the Premier League.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
Now, according to Brazilian news outlet Lance. we are still in talks with the Grazilian side over a deal for Moscardo.
And according to Itatiaia – Corinthians are actually keen to sell the 17-year-old to the club, as there is a £13m release clause in his contract available to Brazilian clubs.
Another day, another talent linked with a move to Stamford Bridge that does not need to make the move at this stage of his career, he is not ready to make any sort of impact on that side and should stay put for another couple of seasons.
We have already seen over the past few weeks that players the club have just signed, talents that are for the future, have been sent out on loan and will not be ready for the club for a good few year.
So, look even though the Brazilian sensation is very talented, even though the Brazilians are keen to sell the lad to us, it is not the right time to come to Europe and he needs to stay put.
