Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has picked up a hamstring injury and could be out for up to 12 weeks, reports The Athletic. The 26-year-old is currently on a season-long loan in La Liga with Real Sociedad having found himself out of favour under Gunners manager Mikel Arteta. Tierney started life in the Spanish top-flight well, making five appearances across all competitions and weighing in with an assist in the 1-0 victory over Valencia last Wednesday.
The former Celtic star sustained the current knock against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday and was withdrawn 25 minutes into the game. Tierney could now face between 10-12 weeks out with the injury and will stay at Sociedad to recover.
