According to reports, Raheem Sterling has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, making it highly unlikely that the Englishman will join Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners have been monitoring the situation of the winger, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.
Manager Mikel Arteta was keen on a reunion at the Emirates Stadium since he left city, but it now appears as though the north London side will not be signing the England international.
The BBC is reporting that Chelsea has agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old, ahead of a potential move from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City side.
Sterling saw his playing time reduced after the record signing of Jack Grealish last term. Raheem has been playing much of his football either on the right-wing or as a makeshift CF.
Now with the arrivals of both Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland, his playing time would definitely be further limited in the new season.
Raheem now looks set to leave the club after giving his ‘yes’ to Chelsea in a potential return to London having been with QPR as a youngster, while his move to Chelsea could well aid Arsenal as they look to bolster the same role.
