Cristiano Ronaldo was on the scoresheet again as he scored his 801st career goal before scoring a penalty that proved to be the winner as United come from behind twice to beat Arsenal.
United interim boss Ralf Rangnick alongside David Beckham watched the thrilling contest from the back row of the directors’ box. The Gunners scored first through a controversial Emile Smith Rowe goal.

The win now leave United two points off fifth-placed Arsenal after recording two wins and a draw under Michael Carrick, the interim manager who officially resigned after the game.
With his resignation, Carrick has become a free agent and with Arteta running out of time at the Emirates it is predicted that Arsenal will make an ambitious move by hiring the former united player.
There is still uncertainty as to whether arsenal will be going for the move, but reports coming out of London suggests that they have no plans at all on firing Arteta.

Arsenal and Arteta now have a chance to get back in the fight for Champions League qualification when they play Everton at Goodison Park next week.
The Arsenal squad has been under the guidance of Mikel Arteta since he took over as manager. His ideas are starting to come through, with more good results and little self-inflicted damage on their part this season.
After the first three games of the season, fans were already predicting that Arsenal would be unable to avoid relegation talkless of getting top four.
